I bought an rSeat GTR frame this weekend only to realize there are no cheap seat options for the frame. I really need something in the $100-150 range that has a side mount for the rig. I've been recommended the Sparco Evo 2 only to fin that it costs $800. If I could afford that I would've just bought a whole rig.

I've seen some nice seats come from junk yards in American sim rigs, and as cheap as $20. Worth a thought, or Ebay for a cheap new seat

Go to a junk yard, find a nice comfy seat. A standard non-bucket seat is a better choice than a "racing seat" for long term convenience and comfort.

As far as I can tell the cheapest side mount seats are the ones that come with racing rigs. You might be better off to take a piece of plywood and cover the seat base and use a regular mounted seat.

I have a pair of wrecking yard seats on wooden bases, LOVE EM. But plan on doing some serious cleaning...

Get a junkyard seat which has manual recline etc. I made the mistake of buying a leather electric seat, but haven't been able to use it.

My junkyard seat trashes that seat, but that said, that's a decent seat. Actually looks alot like the oButto seat in fact.

Not mine, but just like these... almost perfect except one small burn on one of the passenger bolsters. Idiots.

Like mentioned above by Maya, be prepared to DEEP CLEAN a scrapyard seat. Mine had plenty of broken glass to deal with too. =P

I got a Smart ForTwo seat from a junkyard and it's really decent and comfortable and it needed a deep clean up.

They are just like these

check ebay......there are so many cheap chinese knock-offs of real seats your can find what you want, side mounts and all.

My Honda S2000 seat is all leather, very sporty and only $75. This is because it is a passenger seat, which are not as high in demand for, and are always less worn than drivers side. Gotta love Craigys list.
