I'm having a very unusual problem with the Corvette. I went to do a time trial at Silverstone National. When I touched the curb at turn-1, the car started bouncing violently left and right, even the whole way down the straight, still bouncing. Even when I parked the car, still bouncing left and right.

Anyone else have this problem? I can't find any mention of it on the Eutechnyx forums. I tried the 333SP and no problem with that one.

That's very odd Alan, never heard of anything like that, with any car on any track, beta or released game ... I suggest you report it as a new found bug.

(Henrik, take your notes: Corvette, 333SP, Silverstone National ... :sly: )

Hmmm.

Maybe someone could try something for me. Could someone put on hard roll bars F/R on the Corvette and try it out?

The problem occured even when putting two wheels on the grass. I switched to soft roll bars and it was fine. But I was doing races a couple of days ago with hard roll bars and there was no problem.

EDIT:

Yeah, figured out the problem. It is a bug.

I had applied a generic car setup to all of the cars, including the Corvette. I did some races with it 2 days ago, and everything was fine. Today, knew something was wrong once I hit a curb. When I checked the car setup, everything was on default, and visually it looked like default in the showroom. But on track, I could see it was not default setup (heavy camber on the tyres). So I'd say at some point the setup got corrupted, possibly with an unrealistically positive value for roll bars or springs.

I sold the car, bought it again, and everything is ok now.

Yup, I don't recall my car bouncing but that could be only Corvette's problem with extreme values. I think you should report this in Eutechnyx forums too, because at the moment it seems that I'm the only one who has encountered this problem. It would be good for Eutechnyx to see, that it's not just one time bug.
