BOV Again?!

I hate to ask a question that has already been asked, but... Can anyone (Heydu) give me a starting point on adjusting turbo codes? I would like to be able to figure it out on my own instead of asking again and again and again. you know? See, I do not want more power, I just want the noise and the gauge. Last time I tried, I reduced the power of my RB swapped S14 by about a factor of ten. Is it even possible to have different boost readings and sound than what is there "factory"?

Through much testing on the subject of editing the turbo value lines in the .ini file. The results almost always occurred in a dramatic loss of hp. It is not worth your time to play with them. Find the turbo you wish to use...whatever has the loudest BOV or best sounding, and if it is not producing enough power for you, then just use the HP multiplier to adjust it afterwards.
 
I second that, and will also add that U remember that hp multiplier can also lower your hp if it's to high as a result of the turbo
