It appears that the legendary Brabham marque are eyeing a return to Formula 1, and indeed other forms of motorsport including the WEC and potentially Formula E. They are relying on crowd-funding, and hope to raise around £250,000 by November 1st.

David Brabham has been hyping his "Project Brabham" on Twitter a lot, lately.

It'd be nice to have them back in motorsports, F1 or otherwise. A name with some real heritage and Sir Jack's 1966 title feat will almost certainly never be matched.
 
50k pounds in a day not bad, not enough to even get close to F1 but at that rate they should have the funds to be developing a strong Team in LMP2 or GT.

IMO i would forget about WEC at first and Focus on Formula E, you will get your money's worth there while it's still cheap.
 
The intention is for an LMP2 team to start with.
 
250k is only enough for a year for a GT team. They need a lot more money for even LMP2.
