And people said the RS6 was too fast.....

This is what a V12 Biturbo C-Class looks like, and we'll see it in the flesh at tomorrow's Frankfurt motor show.

The latest offering to come from the power-crazed Brabus tuning firm, the Bullit is a Mercedes C-Class fitted with the same engine that powered the Brabus Rocket to a title of world's fastest saloon.

The strains put on almost every element of the car by the 720bhp 6.3-litre V12 under the bonnet means the Bullit has received bespoke modifications in most areas.

A more aerodynamic bodykit allows a 224 mph top speed, the height-adjustable suspension is custom built to cope with the weight and power of the V12 without ruining ride comfort, and a 5-speed automatic transmission has been designed to deal with the 811lb ft of torque produced by the V12.

A rear locking-differential is also a unique feature, allowing the driver to choose from two different final drive ratios.

The Bullit will hit 62mph in 3.9 seconds and 124mph in under 10.4 seconds. Thankfully, the brakes have also been uprated from the standard C-Class.

If you fancy one of the fastest four-door cars ever to be run on the road, the Bullit will set you back a cool £236,300 – a bargain for a car that will outrun most modern supercars and accommodate two baby seats.

Brabus claim the Bullit maintains road manners worthy of the three-pointed star, but we won't know for a while as the press car is yet to gain traction.

It's a shame the guy who designed the front airdam wasn't shown a picture of the new C-class first?

They made the back a bit nicer than the standard c-class, but it still looks to much like an astra to my liking.
The current c-class is in my opinion the most hideous car mercedes ever produced.

That be fast car.

Over the top? I'd say yes. Cool? Yup. Would I buy one if I had the money? There are probably better things to blow that money on.

Oh yeah. And the body needs a bit of work.

Gosh I must be the only one here who liked Merc style in the 80's, all boxy, square and bulky....imposing mafia style...

I would love a nice old black 500SEL!

I was expecting a Mustang. Highland Green, with American Racing Torq Thrust IIs...

Do you think the engineers at MB actually thought "right, we're going to design our bottom of the range sedan with package space to fit a twin-turbocharged V12 engine in without too much trouble".

Well, they must have done, mustn't they? If you Americans are wondering where all the car nuts engineers went - the answer is Germany.

Shock and awe.

:scared:

I really hope they make an estate version.
Variable final drive ratios... So.. Is this a 720 horsepower rocket with a Quickchange rear end? If so, SWEET!

Awesome! 👍 (to danoff for such an awesome picture! )

The Brabus looks like garbage up front but the rear isn't too bad.
All in all I'd probably want that last "Black" AMG car (think it was a C class). The Brabus body kit just doesn't look all that good in my opinion, the front isn't balanced to the rest of the car. With something along the lines of what is being done, I'd definately want a body kit that looked atleast as good as anything AMG provides. 👍

Don't get me wrong, the Brabus is awesome for sure. 👍
I just don't think it is the best looking mercedes. :indiff:

I loved it. 190Evoluzion FTMFW.

I'd still rather take an M3 though.... heritage (my dad owned an E30)

Kent, you mean the CLK-DTM Black Edition? Yeah, that thing is awesome as hell--I'd take one over this too. Unless they made a wagon of this one.

Not exactly sure what the name is but I found pics on a site labeling it as the...
CLK63 AMG Black Edition

AMG CLK63 Black Series...

I think CLK-DTM is cooler though.

It's not C63, it's a CLK, damn it!

They don't make a C63 Black Edition.

German people in automotive industry must be on drug lately. I would love to see the C63 black edition from AMG to pair up the Bullit and it must be really interesting 👍

Exactly, If you look at it you can see that this new one pays homage to the originals oversized paneling... You cant say that this doesnt look sweet! Merc is trying to get back to these days....

is ugly - yes
is the ugly functional? - probably
would I sell my organs to buy one - indeed

The German power wars are awesome

Try to calm down a bit sakiale. It's not too big of a deal to get the name wrong on a car.
I've corrected the post though.

Also, if I were to choose between the CLK-DTM and the CLK63 Black, I'd go with the CLK63 Black because I like the interior more although I'd love to get my hands on the steering wheel of the DTM edition.

God damn thats sexy....Something about the fact of it reaching 224mph seems to damn sexy.

I like it and the aero kit really isn't that bad. It just looks mean to me and I already know it's going to be fast as hell.

Now THAT is an awesome looking car, the angled shot makes the front bumper look too big but looking at it directly front on it really works IMO. Those lights just add to the angry look of it and if you saw that approaching in your mirror you'd move out of the bloody way!

There's a real difference between the 80's functionality of the bodykits and the more recent Mercedes accidents of design. The 190E Evo may have looked ugly, but at least it looked like someone took the time to make sure everything visually worked together. There was some sense of cohesiveness to the aerodynamic improvements.

This kit does nothing but give the already clumsy C-Class serious underbite and a rear end that even GM would hesitate to put into production. Unless Brabus radically reworked the entire underside of the car, that fancy rear "diffuser" has the effect of something between jack and squat. And of course I never believe a max speed until proven on track. But I guess that's not the point of this car. Nor is handling with the now even worse front:rear weight ratio. It'll be bought by the same people who buy $1.6M Lamborghini's.

Nice engine, though. 👍
