Hello there kiddies, and welcome to something that I had assumed wouldn't be on the interweb. Bored, and thinking about random things the other evening I decided to E-Mail my favorite Internet TV Show, DL.TV (think Screen Savers... You get the idea...) about the Ford Sync. It had been a while since I had really heard anything about it, and much to my surprise, DL.TV had some answers...

What it comes down to is that I'm increasingly interested in the Saturn Astra, but the Ford Sync program could be a deal-maker despite the extreme fuglyness of the new Focus (have you seen it? Its HIDEOUS!). So questions and answers, talk about it, laugh a bit, etc... We end up getting pointed to Ford's website, Sync My Ride, for further answers.

Either way, its an interesting discussion that can go a few different ways, and I'll let you all decide:
1) Should we start to expect these BlueTooth and iPod/Zune compatable systems to become at least optional, if not standard, in more and more cars? Not just Fords, but everyone?
2) Do you find the system convenient, and in any way appealing?
3) Most importantly, is it a feature that would bring you into a Ford/Lincoln/Mercury dealership and make you consider a model that you would otherwise stay away from?
