Lets give Kaz and his next of kin, some ideas, on what we'd like for GT 10(X), 2020 AD.

For starters, I want to be able to race in a virtual mode, along side existing drivers on the track, in real time. The AI cars and drivers will be real, sending data of their status through the game, onto our TV sets. real time motion capture , if you want to call it that.

Smell and heat immersion emiting from the new SmellSung TV's. featuring 360 degree vision, with focus being on where you turn your head at, to preserve bandwidth if necessary. (We will have fiber channel internet, so perhaps not an issue by then)

Debris , track temperature from use, oil slicks, the works.

Full cockpit simulators on the market from Thrustmaster (NASA) and independants.

Virtual garage, with real mechanics and tuners in shop.

Being able to race for real money, sponsorship, and allow winning tickets to go drive real cars at a real track.

PD, are you still with me? 8 years isn't that far away! 👍:sly: Discuss :) cheers.

Aventador coming NEXT WEEK!!

Nice idea, but it might be worth getting 5 over and done with first.

Interesting ideas but we will be lucky to have GT 6 by 2020 lol

In the future, that may be a possibility. As for it being widely available, distant future.

If a GPS dot was placed inside the real life car and this data track was similar quality to F1 GPS (Accurate to within 1 metre) then the game could receive the signal just like it real life track positioners. However rather than show a dot on the track map, it could render this GPS dot on a 3D level if the dimensions for the vehicle are known by the computer in relation to the GPS dot. This means that as the car moves in real life, the computer knows their exact position and then renders this position in game. It is possible very much but we are not at that level of technology (or expense) yet. In the future though.....

Oh and the cars wouldn't be able to do anything like a jump because the GPS works in a 2D level so you would need a greater amount of processing which calculates the altitude at every moment. Also possible but if a mistake happens then you would get floating cars. So yes it is very possible but one car alone is hard enough. Having an entire field of 16 opposition would be insane. Fun but insane. Lots of possibilities for it though.
