i changed all my brake settings to 2/24 (FR and a few 4WD). i like it better for drifting. ithelps slow car down faster on sims and when sideways it helps. anyone know if raising the balance is raising Anti-Lock? dunno just seemed weird

how about the fron tire should have more brakes then the back tire, because dont it makes the car go sideways, but if your using sim then i dont know, i only use super soft, so i have it on 19 and 9

i like to do alot of brake-drifts, so i set BBC to like 8 front, 22-24 rear to help with massive oversteer. and while braking during drifts, it helps hold the ass end in i think.

from what i know is that if you set it 24-24 you brake really good but you wont have control while braking but if you set it like 5-5 then your brakes will be a little weak but you have control while braking

I use 10/24, it helps to oversteer the car while braking, and if I have to slow down while drifting the car doesn' roll.

That's like pulling the E-brake without actually doing that, but some people can and others may have a tough time drifting without locking the rear wheels.

I don't :)

My settings are 12/12 on every car that drifts.

not nessecarily .. you can feint or drift the straighaway to lose speed and keep at a certain RPM ... i do it once in awhile when i'm messing around ... like the straightaway in Midfield, i'll drift or feint or whatever the whole straightaway and get ready for the u-turn. no braking nessesary. i do this if i'm testing the LSD and the spring settings. to test the brakes i'll enter go straight on straightaway and slam the brakes before the u-turn. then i'll end up with nice settings and a feel for the car. that is how i make settings.:D

I used to run like 10/24 because it helped get the back end of the car around during braking drifts and also if I brake in the middle of a drift, slow the rear wheels down more than the front so you wouldn't spin out as much.
Lately I've been running either 15/15 or 20/15 simply because you brake much faster that way and If I want to slow the rear wheels down in a drift I quickly tap the e-brake/handbrake.

haha, I should try that to test my drifting skillz :D

Entering a corner is the only time I use the e-brake. And like TokyoJoe said, just tap it for like half a second, don't hold it down. You also have to give it a slight toss to get the weight transferring, like you would if you were brake drifting but not quite as extreme. Also, get back on the gas a little as soon as you let go of the e-brake, otherwise it'll pull you out of the drift. No one can really teach you, it just takes practice is all.

If you want to ensure that you won't oversteer too much in the corner: countersteer when you pull the e-brake :)

MrTokyoJoe can you plz elaborate on your procedure for tuning in the LSD's I always buy evrything for my cars but seldom do i play with the settings what do you get out of tuning the LSD's

i read about the LSD and it's purpose somewhere (too lazy to explain here). but drift a straightaway and see how the gas reacts and how the car handles the drift. then i change the settings and try again. if those settings are better i remember them and try more settings until i rule out the best LSD settings. takes a while but fun.

me i like to set the front harder than the back. it helps my cars reaction. see when u push the brakes the weight shifts to the front putting pressure on the front tires which gives the grip reaction. at the same time the rear weight shift forward, that is the time to shift the weight and start a turn.

if u put the brake in the rear only itll drag and doing so there is no grip pressure in the front. the reaction will be slower.

powerful car i set frt-19 rear-9

also there is also a ultimate theory. if u watched the chinese movie legend of speed itll make scence a little.
If your wanting to go for speed u must minimise the brakes and braking. i follow that theory with my trueno and hit that 1:19:426. all i did was set the brakes to front-2 and rear-1. it shave bout 500 milliseconds.

thats alls.
