The car is a '91 Fiat Uno.
Basically, every now and again (once every month or 2) the brakes will stop working after driving around 10 miles. The pedal goes straight to the floor and barely stops. It was pretty scary the first time it happened
Lucky nothing bad has happened.
It only seems to appear during hot weather. The whole winter (3-4 months) I never had the brake issue.
A few people have said it could be an air bubble in the lines and to pump the pedal to rectify the situation. When I do this, while pulled over and not moving, the brakes to seem to go back to normal. However, as soon as I pull away and give them a test, the pedal goes to the floor again.
Does anybody have any idea what could be causing this? Like I said, it doesn't happen very often, but enough to be a concern.
Thanks.
