Hi guys,

I've just found an odd issue in my 2000 Ford Focus. The brake lights are always on! I've done a little research and found that a common fault is the wiring under the boot lid. This makes a little sense as the rear wiper is too intermittent in that it stops randomly!

Has anyone come across this issue before?

*edit*

Found that the switch on the brake pedal had come loose. I've put it back in to place and it is now working. :)

I have that same problem with my 07 5 door.

Have to time it to get it to stop where it should, only goes properly when I use the washer fluid.

I see you found the the switch behind the brake pedal, was gonig to suggest that, as that should ne number one spot to look at on all cars with this problem. :)
