this is jus an idea thats popped into my head..more relevant to the guys that have stripped the pedal boxes to mount into an install, but..
instead of the spring to replicate brake modulation, why not use a hydraulic set-up from say a mountain bike..??
you would need the lever (and resevoir), caliper, pipe & something for the caliper to bite onto, piece of wood, metal, plastic.
the component parts are compact enough to fit into an install and can be sourced for reasonable money second hand, a bit of garden shed engineering would suffice for mounting and tweaking for pedal travel etc.
i rekon ill give this a go when a couple of my other projects get finished off..
