Brand Central New car paint missing

Can someone help me with something? I just bought a Nissan Z Performance '23 new from Brand Central and got the Seiran Blue Metallic with it when I bought it. However, when I go to GT Auto to the car customization, it's telling me that I need to buy the color to use it in the create livery section. If I'm correct, I shouldn't have to buy it again right? Does anyone know what gives?

You don't get the paint with the car - unlike in GT6. All paints must be bought separately.

So why does it say owned in the pic i attached? That doesn't seem to make sense. 🤷🏿‍♂️

It denotes that you own the car in that colour.

If you were to make a livery for it and later decide to revert it to standard, that's the colour it will revert to.

I think it just means you own a car with that original color.

It denotes that you own the car in that colour.
