Breaking out

Wow, I decided last night to try breaking out of tracks (used Search to find the last thread on this subject), and it's amazingly easy! I did it about 10 times last night. :D

The things you see are fabulous! (broke out of Seattle and Monaco). It's kind of interesting to look at all of the layering stuff (especially the farthest background pictures, which don't even move!). It's also kinda funny to see the city floating on air, ditto to the Space Needle.

Question though: I've heard you can break out of one of the SS Routes, but I've looked through both of them and can't seem to break out. Also, it seems like you can only break out of courses that have extensive use of guardrails... would this be a true assumption?
 
I haven't been able to break out of Manaco, I don't know where the bleak out point is....

it's on SSR5, go flying through the pit the right way, and then turn left and ride the wall and you break out...
 
Okay, thanx!

For Monaco, follow these directions:

1) Go foreword, make the sharp right-hand turn
2) Go up the straightaway, w/ the sun blaring in your eyes.
3) Make the wide left turn, then the quick right
4) Go down the straigthaway, but DON'T make the right turn.
5) If you turn left, you will see a "Castrol" sign. To the left of the sign, you will see the breaking point. So, just go to the top of the straight, turn around, go down, stay in the middle, then at the last minute enter the breaking point (note: don't just stay on the left side the entire time... it usually doesn't work for me like that)
6) Enjoy! :D
 
Can someone please post screen shots of people going 2.6 billion mph? I can't seem to find any using the search button...:nervous:
 
I posted one in the older break out of the track thread, when you find that you'll see the pic, well I'll try to find it and post it here....
 
Here's a pic, not billions of MPH, but I didn't lock the game up. Then I exited out, and the car has over a million miles on it lol...

Your welcome Josh...I believe I'm the first person to ever go that fast and not lock the game up lol...
 
..but i heard ppl went like 2 billion..and quite before the game locked up..u only went 227 million
 
I've never heard of anyone quitting at several billion, it's basicly impossible cause by that speed MPH multiplys in millisecs., and where I quit I believe was just about as far as you can get before it locks up...
