Did anyone else watch the Brickyard 400? It was the most exciting one I've seen IMO. There was alot of good passing and strategy from alot of the drivers. I was hoping that Stewart would be able to make it back up to the leaders but after the mishap in the pits it wasn't possible.

I absolutely loved the race. it was fantastic. for a few seconds I thought Jr was going to lead a few laps.

Yes Kasey hit the wall a ton. He got sideways and slid straight into the wall. It looked like a very hard impact but he was fine.

I watched the last ten or so. I was going for Kenseth. Just didn't have the car. Did anyone else hear Robin Miller's comments on The Speed Report? I thought they were very good, almost funny to. I'm glad Speed have the balls to put an anti-NASCAR reporter on a NASCAR network.

Yeah it was a good race--didn't turn out like I wanted--I was pulling for Jeff Gordon. But Jimmie Johnson winning is just as good. Yeah, Jeff just couldn't recover from being three laps down early in the race with a broken sway bar! How do you break a sway bar if you don't hit anything? But it added tension to the race, because I kept pacing around the livingroom praying that Jeff Gordon would pull off a victory. He probably would have too if the race lasted another 25-30 laps.
What happened to Jeff Burton. He was so dominate for the bulk of the race--led more laps than anyone to finish just one place ahead of Gordon? Did he have a busted sway bar too?
Another question: What happened to Kasey Khane in his wreck at the end. Man, that was a massive hit!! NBC really didn't provide any answers! In fact, NBC barley get's a passing grade for their coverage of the race. Four laps, break for commercials, four laps, break for commercials . . .
All in all though, it was a great race in a day full of great racing!

I know!! I saw only one replay of the crash! I was waiting to see the 10 different angles that they usually have but no? They kept interviewing Jimmie and showing him get out of his car, then they just cut to some football game.

Not a football fan V8 Power? That was the Raiders vs. Eagles Hall of Fame game. Ahh, it's good to have football back...
