These were amazing! What is it you ask? 1/4 mile drag racing on brighton seafront!

Lots of cars where there, Caterhams, Ariel Atoms, An unbelevably fast Ford Puma, V12 Vanquish, F40 F50, murcielago, gallardo, 911 GT3s, a seriosuly quick Fiesta rally car, Pilbeams, single seat race cars, global GT lights, drag bikes, superbikes, GT race cars and a awsomely fast Skyline GTR R33, what an amazing spectacle it was. I beleive the fastest bike did a 9.2 second run and i cant remember the fastest car, i do know the skyline did it in around 10.2 or something.

Vtec_Guy tells me he has got some photos and videos ready to show so lets look forward to them.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, there was a hell of a lot of Ford GT40s.
 
I've seen a few video clips of GT40 replicas doing the run in the past and it looked like fun.

Ive got a few video clips and photos of the event, ill edit the video clips together when i upload them on wednesday and then host them and the pics so everyone can check it out.
 
I keep forgetting to go to this every year, but when is the next one on. Maybe if I go to the next one I see Vtec Guy.
 
I missed it. Humph. Is it on every year, and do you know what date it is?
 
some nice cars, iv been considering going but it seems to attract a lot of the kit and neon brigade im not sure whether i should bother :indiff:
