British GT Championships 2008 - Knockhill

This weekend I went to the British GT Championship round at Knockhill with Holdenhsvgtsr. We were there on the Sunday to see round 4 which was won by the Ascari. We also saw the Ginetta G20 and Ginetta G50 races as well as a couple of formula ford races. All in all, it was a great days racing puntuated by typical Scottish all-seasons-in-one-day weather.

and the worldest fastest hire car

what happened was the car blew its engine during saturday race,they then phoned up a car hire company and hired a gallardo and then took the engine out of it and put it in the race car

and then on the way home we did a spot of off roading

and we met anthony ried who also signed my ticket.

yes knockhill has the same climate as the mediterranean you know....

no most of my time spend at knockhill is usually in a nice warm race car or a nice warm support van so im not used to the cold for long periods of time...

How was the race itself? I saw the one at Snetterton last year and it was pretty good.

Awesome stuff. I also went to a race day last weekend, but... ahh... I don't think it even slightly compares to the British GT you guys went to.
Lambo's, Ferraris, and Astons.... or Falcons and Commodores? Tough Choice.

Thanks for sharing those Knockhill photos with us 👍. I was also unaware of what happened to David Leslie last Month... That's a real shame
