Hi All,

After returning to GT following a short interval playing Forza I preordered GT6 and I am loving it.
I consider myself a decent GT player and have had no trouble at all golding everything so far (all the goodwood challenges/coffee breaks etc) and am on the International A events.
I just wanted to express my surprise when I took a tuned Europa into the british lightweight series and (madrid in particular) got outpaced greatly by this little classic racer open wheel bundle of joy known as the Rocket. Given the way the Europa drives I enjoy the challenge but found it very difficult keeping up with the little green monster.
Anyone else found this?

The Rocket is actually a 2007 car and it really is a Rocket, the car is really, really fast. Probably because it weighs about as much as a packet of crisps and has over 160hp.

Yes. You will either face the LCC Rocket or the Caterham. Both aren't supposed to be allowed to be able to enter. Best choice is to do what they did and use one if those and simply decrease the power so you can enter.

lol yeah i used thwe rocket 4 that race it keeps up with some race cars once maxed as long as your not on le sarthe i used it 4 the 24 min nurburg ring it was a blast though slip slidin in the rain in a car that weighs nothin is a bit challenging

The Rocket and the Seven being allowed isn't that crazy, the British Lightweight race in GT5 let me use the McLaren F1 Stealth (on Comfort Medium tires :mischievous:)

Theres a couple of tvr premium cars that do real well in these races too. I used the tamora but then I bought a rocket car cos that thing looked great, was not disappoint

After trying two different Elises for the Brit Lightweights, I gave up and bought a Rocket and won the first time.

There are two cars you can win which will clear this series easily. As most people have mentioned the LCC Rocket (Goodwood - Series 1) will do the job, but you can also opt for the '96 Elise Race Car obtained from Golding i-B missions.

I used my modded '11 Elise, but even with the car stellar performance I had a hard time beating Murray's most loved child on the Matterhorn. A tuned Europa sounds like a lot of fun, why don't I have one already?

I bought the Elise race car - detuned it to 485pp and can usually pass the rocket on the last couple of turns during the last lap.

It's funny to me the race is called "British lightweights" but the weight cap is 1200kg - hardly lightweight!
