Broforce is a side scrolling run 'n gun platformer by Free Lives. It started in early access in 2012 before being released on PC in October 2015. It was also released for PS4 on 1st March 2016 and is free for all PS+ Members.

Gameplay

The game follows a group of action hero-style commando's who fights terrorists and rescues prisoners of war. Each character is a parody of fictional action hero's, usually with the word "Bro" in their name, and each character has a unqiue weapon and special item, with some having unique melee attacks. The game features fully destructible environments which get destroyed by gunfire and explosions. Each level ends with the player killing the boss, hoisting an American flag and leaving via helicopter while the level explodes.
