i'll keep this simple...

I was just playing GT5.
Went to the UCD and brought a nismo 400R :)
Next i went to the top gear test track to test it out.

the game crashed loading the top gear test track!
I waited to no response... powered it down, started it up again.
tryed again.
same problem again and again.

Started the console again. changed car and track. (Nurb in a deloreon lol)
worked fine.
went to try the DeLoreon on the top gear test track.
Crashed again!

Booted console up again...
then I get an error saying

"The hard disks file system is corrupted and will be restored."

no other option available to me but to press X and continue.

so it does the restore procedure, and restarts.

then does it again and again and again, in a cycle..
What is it doing? someone help please....

I only have a PS3 to play GT5.

Clean the disc with alcohol and a soft cloth and then try again.
If that doesn't work - delete the game data and reinstall GT5.

Good luck!

save your game save to a usb first before doing anything if you can, but it sounds like a gt5 problem since the ps3 works by turning on etc. Than delete the install file and put back in gt5 and reinstall it. Should sort any problems that have occurred

Hard drives die. They might work for a little while once you start to see all kinds of problems... But you'll just lose more and more data if you keep trying. You need to backup and get a new hard drive.

I have this exact problem on my PS3, I went on GT5 for the first time in a few weeks and it froze a few times until I turned it on again and now I'm stuck in that cycle with it doing nothing, I guess I need a new Hard drive now? :(
