Official Thread for my mosaic creations. I will update regularly for whenever I have created a new piece.

History:
I began working with mosaics during my sophomore year of High School. My f had invited me to join an art program held at my school that paid me to build a mural. I was assigned to the mosaic team because I hated painting and sucked at drawing. After about a month I became very fond of working with mosaics and helped complete the mural, it's following upgrade, and several other works. Now that I've graduated out of the program, I now want to advance my mosaic skills and work on more personal projects.

Made some more mosaics, 3 were specifically made for a few of my friends who had requested one.

The names are "Tanisha," "Angela," and "Peony Flower." "Tanisha" is my friend's initial coupled with The Jamaican flag. "Angela" is my friend's initials with new techniques, and the Peony Flower is just my first attempt at a flower.

These are the two larger pieces I made, they are "Roots" and "The Globalist" respectively. "Roots is a simple mosaic that can be flipped on either side to represent the roots of the thin below the surface.

My Grandmother told me that it reminded her of a geneogram (Family tree) which does make sense to me even though it wasn't it's intention. This is one of my favorite pieces I've made so far.

"The Globalist" is based greatly off of a Muse song with the same name, It represents a great power who corrupts others and eventually ruins the world. This piece didn't turn out exactly how I wanted it to as not all the design cues turned up correctly, however, people have been telling me that they really enjoy this one.

Also, I measured "Prancing Horse" and it stands 3 feet tall! Its by far my largest piece.
