Beating 50,000 others to become officially the top GT driver in the USA: Priceless

Congrats Bryan Heitkotter > 2011 GT Academy Champion!

:D

Funny how someone from IRacing came in a pooped on all the console racers XD Whoooo! IRacing!

I think the point here is that he came from sim racing, no matter what it was. And it wasn't easy either, because there were many others that could have taken the #1 spot as well.

Kudos to Bryan, super nice guy and he deserves it. Awesome that he took 1st place in Orlando then backed it up with the overall win. 👍

Great to be home, the trip was awesome though!

Like R1600Turbo said that's not important. If you are able to drive fast enough to be in the top 16 over 50 000 it's because you know how to drive, no matter on which device. Any fast driver from Gran Turismo of Forza will be fast in iRacing too so forget the comparison and let's just celebrate with Mr. Heitkotter, who must be dreaming right now!

Congratulations Bryan! Watched him in a few of the iRacing Drivers World Championship broadcasts and he certainly is a world class driver. I'm sure he'll be fantastic in the real world, interested to see how he goes!

Good luck! 👍

A huge congrats Bryan - Twittering, Facebooking, and generally acting in a way similar to what will surely follow, the Cuda Fan Club :p.

I can say I've raced against the man, and really, I can't think of anybody who deserves this more. Hats off to you, sir

Pfffttt.
I could beat him. lol
JK
No way I'd come close.
Awesome job man!
You're the best!

Bryan Heitkotter is now my favorite pro driver. Great show, solid all week. It was truly an honor competing with you. Good luck with your training and stay in touch.

Congrats to Bryan!

Anyone have any idea why they released the winner or is it just because it would be hard to hide the fact hes gonna disappear for a year starting in a few weeks?

They were planning on announcing it shortly after the contest anyway. Just not sure if they had planned on doing it that soon. I honestly don't think it makes any difference whether it's done now or in a months time. You guys should really enjoy the TV show, lots of work went into the shoot. 👍

Congrats Bryan. Well done man. I look forward to seeing you race with the big boys. 👍

big 👍 to everyone; can't imagine the ride of awesome you've all been on.
and welcome home safe and sound!

Congrats Bryan! It's no suprise you were the man for the job, given your massive talents in sim racing and in auto-x'ing. Anyway, best of luck on the rest of your journey to becoming a pro racing driver!

Wait, there's gonna be a tv show? Sorry, haven't been following. What channel is it going to be on?

Oh, and major congrats!

Congrats to you too for doing well brother be proud!!! And congrats to Bryan H from over here on the East Coast!

Another point to note is that while Bryan did come from a great sim racing background, the platform for his success also came from being a top level SCCA Autocross National Champion. I take a personal sense of pride knowing that a fellow autocrosser used his tremendous skills learned flogging a car around pylons to take the top spot in Silverstone. No doubt, this speaks to high value and lessons learned in driving technique and setup skills learned in the hyper-competitive world of national SCCA autocross. Perhaps turns per minute > total seat time? :) Haha either way congrats to Bryan H for a brilliant drive, and to my great friends that I am sure did well ripping it up across the pond!

I can't wait to see Bryan tearing it up in pro races now!!!!
