Sprint Championship

Info:
Short Sprint Series (sSs) is a new racing series of "compact" racing. It consists of 5 races in 3 weeks making this a quick simple series. We'll be racing on FIVE different tracks. First week and Last week of races will be TWO 15 minutes endurance. Middle week race will be 1 race lasting about 30 minutes long. (2-1-2 format) Keeping close clean racing fun but with meaning by adding a point system that will be used. Tuning your car up to 530PP max limit.

Practice
5 Minutes Qualify
15 Minutes Endurance race

Second Race will go Straight into 5 min. Qualifying!

  • Mid-Field Racway (NEW TRACK) 15 min.
  • Silverstone (international) 15 min.

WEEK 2
  • Motegi Oval (38 laps) Pit stops will be NEEDED
*TIRE WEAR will be set to VERY FAST



Week 3 (pitstops not needed)
  • Apricot Hill (reverse) 15 min.
  • Red Bull Ring 15 min.

Not exactly, because if everything goes to plan this should finish at 6:30PM GMT, about the same time as the FIA GT room opens. I wouldn't have signed up if it finished later than 6:30PM. :)
 
I can change the time to be a little bit earlier. Or change it to a Saturday.... I just picked a reasonable day and time for everyone. But i'm willing to adjust it.
 
Sundays....
I can move the time to 12pm US eastern

Saturdays....
I can do 2pm US eastern time (1:30pm the earliest)

The events should last under 1 hour for sure. You seem to be 5 hours ahead of me which should be OK for your 20.00GMT. (SATURDAY)

Again, we wood need more interest. Maybe push the dates back. I think this could be a good short series.
 
I race in other series' which take place at:

Sunday 1830 GMT to about 2000 GMT.
Wednesday 1745/1800 GMT to about 2000/2030 GMT.
Still waiting on another series' day/time.

Other than that I'm free. :)

Most likely I'll have to push this series back a little bit due to sign ups. I'll wait up until April to see if this goes anywhere. Just stay posted to the thread...... 👍
 
What up fool! Sat at 2 works best for me but by all means set a time that's best for the most drivers. I'll keep an eye on the thread and I'm always up for practice sessions until the ball gets rolling.

I should be around on Sat, Ill keep an eye out.
 
Try it again but allowing tuning, see if that works.

Spec series can be quite hit-and-miss with tuning prphibited.
 
I guess I can try this again with limited tuning involved. See if it interests more.

I'm thinking 530PP on sports Softs. I'll post the final touches tonight. Give it one last go!

Was also thinking of a tuned 501pp tuned premium non race cars too. And have a hand full of cars on the list. Same/similar setup as this series.
