With Season 6 drawing to another eventful close heres looking toward 7 and us continuing to improve!!

Car spec's and selection are still under discussion but heres an early heads up (below) on our thoughts. Any past present or future competitors are welcome to comment or make suggestions as always were all ears:dopey:

We will be looking at a the possibility of a minimum 2 new cars for S7 one being the controversial return to the much maligned 4wd.

Race format will remain at its current state meaning the Q system is set to stay. Its not perfect but works in general best for the series. The only possible change format wise will be the tyre wear option for race 2. If its possible to bring an element of strategy in we would like too its just the tyre wear/fuel situation on fast is a little bonkers but were gonna have a look.

Following on from the cars we will look to introduce a couple of new tracks Daytona Road, HSR and Autumn Ring have so far been mentioned in the pipeline. The calender length will however remain as it is we feel this is about right, so consequently 2 tracks will be dropped to accommodate. Weather once again was discussed and quashed pretty quickly sorry guys its just not condusive with these monsters.

Points system will remain the same however to accommodate the inevitable missed night we will drop everybodys weakest points haul.

Very Very Early Cars and Specifications.

Ford GT 06 ~ 552bhp 1440kg
Lamborghini Murcielago LP 670 SV 09 ~ 582bhp 1370kg
Mercedes Benz SLS AMG 10~ 582bhp 1420kg
Ferrari 458 Italia 09 ~ 582bhp 1420kg
Ferrari 430 Scuderia 07 ~ 602bhp 1320kg
Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 (C6) 09 ~ 602bhp 1370kg

If any of the above have a turbo/supercharger fit it.:sly:

Discussion Open watch for updates.👍

And to add to that we will be having 1 drop score.

Looking good. 👍 I like the Camaro SS, so hopefully that gets in. For the tracks you said had been discussed, the only one of those I like is HSR. I'm decent at Daytona Road but aren't too fond of the track (mainly the first turn). I guess that's like Fuji though, so it doesn't matter. Autumn Ring...no.

That turn 1 is the only downfall at Daytona road :(

Yeah that first turn is a bit iffy:nervous: A/Ring whilst i love it in low powered cars these may be a bit lumpy for such a track so you may well get your wish Joe tbh.
As theres some early interest in the Camaro i'll probably continue to test further its a car im not great with however.:dopey: If you put together some times with the above spec let me know.💡;)

So is the Lambo staying for good then? I did a fair amount of testing with the Lambo before S6 started and then it was dropped.

That was fat Lambo thin Lambo is better. Tyre wear works so hopefully yes to answer your question.;)

Don't see me being a part of this, but best of luck as always guys 👍

Need to change car for S7. SLS is a good car but obviously not working with me at the helm :(

Never managed to get good times in any Ferrari and I suck in 4wd, maybe back to my pond roots :sly:

Well I do like the OP status of the Camaro SS (Due to me it has been heavily despeced during S4 ??) :D
But I would like to claim a Lambo due to it being removed from S6 list :D

But the Scuderia will be a superb Car too but I´m more of a Bull than a Horse
=> probably I´ll choose the Lambo over any other Car :D

BTW:
Tire Wear on fast is ok. You can let them Tires last "long" but for that you have to treat them right. If not you´ll have to do 3-5 stops if the length stays the same ;)
=> This would spice up R2 heavily
=> 👍 from me

BTW²:
I would enter as a Reserve due to me beeing absent from my PS3 the monthes April and June.

BTW³:
Autumn Ring is great Track but I think its too tight for this Cars plus you only have 1-2 passing opertunities (clean one´s) so I would recommend Deep Forrest :D
Kind of short, fast and could be a a great Race-Day.
And I would like that Fuji drops out, I just don´t like her.
Or swap Spa for Motegi full 👍

@ Stu all out team toad attack huh.:sly:

@ King will have a look at Deep Forest by all means.👍 It was more the silly fuel depletion i wasnt keen on but again something we will look at along with how the 4wd tyres are effected in comparison to the rest on fast. As i mentioned before i will continue to work on the Camaro (what a set of brakes wow!) its atleast competitive at Monza and Fuji F as we speak so that bodes well for the twistier tracks given its V8 pedigree. Oh and reserve slot noted.👍

May have to make it work, lots of practice needed me thinks.

My Camaro setups not great but even now its putting some decent times down may be worth a look mate.👍 The Scuderia is said to be the best handling Ferrari in the game so i'd give that a lap or two before disgarding it completely.:)

No answer ok moving on:crazy:

Running some Monaco laps with this "Fast" setting little grip after only 5 laps and spinning out by 8 its a battle to get all these horses down:scared:. Hand on heart im not a fan none of my Ford setups seem to make much difference it would need alot of practice for me personally:nervous: Would be a tyre survival test for me rather than a race only my opinion though.:guilty:

I like the tyre system is at is and the fact it doesnt become a strategy fest to be honest :tup

Whats the Ferrari 430 Scuderia 07 like by the way? Think Ill be the 458 again or that  :)

@ Carb yeah i gotta agree tbh feels completely unrealistic on fast sadly.:grumpy:

@ Nel Its a Ferrari!:drool: Seriously though its well worth a look;) If the Camaro makes it in i dont know if dropping the 458 might be an option we only wanted 5, 6 tops.:guilty:

458 is a safe bet to have though in case something doesnt work out e.g one of the Corvettes from this season which was dropped 👍

If its not broke dont fix it so leave the tire settings as is i guess
