Typhoon Racing
Once again arried late to the season following last years trend.
They definately let everyone know they had arrived.
Grabbing both 1st & 2nd in a show of dominence.

Balang Project w/ RE-Amemiya
Once again having a strong outing easily taking 3rd, only team to come within 0.5secs of Typhoons times.
Suenaga Masao will not be happy with his performance though compared to his team mates success.

Nihon Racing
Good effort by both drivers, Being 0.022secs apart from each other.
Not much time was speant on this track due to Keiichi Tsuchiya's horrific crash while testing on Suzuka West.

American MC Racing
Good times were set by John Heinricy proving his win in the previous race was not a fluke.
The same cannot be said for Dean Martin. Maybe poor traction in his Mustang? Or not enough track time?
The drivers were rumoured not to have enjoyed this track.

Infinity
Action Jackson was again posting times that no one expected.
This underpowered car loves taking on the 700+bhp monsters!
He cant possibly do as well on Suzuka West could he?!

Tried this, its incredibly tough with these high power machines..

Thats why I chose it :) Thought it would be a bit of a challege for us.
It requires a bit of tuning to keep good traction & get got front end grip for corners. Understeer really kills your laptimes. & because its so short it should be incredibly tight =]

Did like an hour of set up with the RX-7 got some good times but it seems like i cant keep the flow... and 4WD of the R33 is no advantage here either R3s are grippy enough for the 7. Setup is proving hard as i have no idea of exactly what is the best handling for this type of course.... will be interesting to see results.. they could be quite spread out....

When I tried this with my 7 r34 & supra I found the 34s too be amazingly quick round here & my 7s were struggling to keep under 1sec slower until I found a sweet new line that took my 7 fastest but my supra struggled with traction.
You really have to concentrate on this one to get under 40secs I was struggling for a while.

The R34 must be quite better than the R33 then, i really couldnt get close to the 7s time. I cant see the heavier 4WD ever being an advantage in these regulations...

Submitted my times.... i physically couldnt drive any faster, i think its a good time... once again R33 is 1 second slower...

Times submitted.

I didn't really struggle in the 350Z for a clean lap,
but the Lotus was a bit hard to control there.

Yea, sorry about the inbox. I've made some room now.

And about the dirty time, it was 3 or 4 wheels offroad, that's why I DQ'd that lap.

Breaking News!

While doing some early practice runs on the Suzuka West track Nihon Racings driver Keiichi Tsuchiya had a huge off at the 130R.
He was going over 170mph when turning into the corner.
The cause is yet unknown but the cars rear suddenly lost grip & the car went spiralling out of control into the tyre wall.
There is rumoured to be a video tape of the accident which we shall try to bring to you.
Thankfully Mr. Tsuchiya was unharmed in the crash but unfortunately the same cant be said about his car, he will have to build a new car if he is to post a time for Race 2.
His mechanics are frantically trying to find a replacement as we speak.

Quick update.
A new car has been built by Nihon Racing, Mazda's RX7 Spirit R Type A.
Mr Tsuchiya managed to run a laptime on Motorland just now & it seems to be just as competetive.

New Update!
The video of the accident has been found & Uploaded by a kind fan of the series.
The video can be found here.
Please ignore the cough in the background

We want that video..

Well Balang our sources are on the job & will find the video footage =]
At first on lookers thought he took some grass before turning in but that wouldnt have caused the spin out. Maybe chronic understeer.
Who knows, we promise to find the footage & have it up in the morning.

Results are now up =]
On to round 3! Suzuka West.

You will notice that Green_Flags team has been removed.
I never recieved any times for either race & he hasnt posted anything since posting his team. If he makes a comeback I will add him on though
