Budget Tuner Cup

BTC Season 1, Round 3
Midfield Raceway
Deadline has passed
Results:

Drivers Championship:

The third race of the BTCup has now ended.
As expected we saw the same kind of results as the similar Fuji.
So similar that the top 6 were in the exact same order.
With similar differences in times aswell.
Typhoon Racing
Yet again Typhoon Racing placed some amazing times which seemed unbeatable! Grabbing both 1st & 2nd for the third outing in a row. With one race still to go Hal has already won the Drivers Championship! What a performance, Never even dropping a point! 2nd could still be snatched away from Sal thought.
Infinity
The team that has 2 drivers fighting for 2nd/3rd place in the drivers championship had yet another great showing. Were pipped to 3rd thought due to lack of time on the track. Could this see the team dropping behind in the championship? We'll have to see.
Nihon Racing
Ken Nomumura had yet another good showing in his powerful Supra.
Sneaking into 3rd to claim his 2nd podium of the season. Which put him in contention for 3rd in the Championship.
After a few poor races Keiichi Tsuchiya didnt even post a time in his dissapointing S2000. After running a few laps in the low 1'1x's he decided he was too far off the pace in such an unrewarding car that he didnt bother.
HPA Motorsports
Again placing a solid 6th place. I've personally tried running this car & its surprisingly slow in my hands. He could be a surprise in the next race as the 4wd should be good for great acceleration which is a must on Autumn Ring
Toyo Racing
Both cars scored points in this race. The HPA put in a respectable time when considering the tires its on. If the RX7 is on the same tires then both could be alot higher with better tires. Could be interesting to see them on Spec Tires next season.
The next race in the BTC's schedule will take place on Autumn Ring.
