Budget for a gaming Rig (UK)

I've always used consoles, but considering getting a PC now I have a decent wheel and seat.

Don't know anything about them, what kind of budget for an entry / mid level PC?

What make / vendors are worth looking at?

Will be smarter to wait till RDNA 2 and RTX 3*** series will be out. Right now price/performance for GPU isn't all that good.

Another problem is PCIE4 ready motherboards which all overpriced.

Optimal future proof gaming setup(PS5 performance level) right now is:
Ryzen 3700
X570/B550 motherboard
RTX 2070S
32 GB of 3200 RAM
1TB harddrive

You would need around 2k£

You could half your spendings if you wait 6-8 month.

Ha, not used a PC since 2007, I use an iMac.

I did built a PC when I was at uni, but it was always going wrong. Haha.

Not bad, actually. Main problems are motherboard and cheap gpu cooling. With 3900 you would like more power phases on motherboard and 2080s need more cooling. They have ACE board which will cost you +100 and I don't see any GPU with decent cooling. Also, you dont need liquid cooling for 3900 its not that hot.
