This thread is about Buell. I can't think of too many other companies in America that make superbikes, but I do know that Buell makes some of the best American-made sport bikes. How American? Try putting Harley engines to fit a sport bike. All the grunt you're accustomed to in seeing a Harley on the road put into a sport bike to tear up the road. The best newer Buell is the 1125R. I hear it's Buell's first water-cooled sportbike from a company that's been around since the early 1980s. A YouTube comment I was reading on this bike goes as follows:

"...Buell needs to abandon the archaic Harley motors and utlize this Rotax motor on all their machines. This bike sucks up all the streetfighters and blows them out its tailpipe. The riding position is too aggressive for my tastes and the throttle spring will give you Popeye arm but otherwise this bike is spot on." -mgbv6 on YouTube (link and video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i6NL3Whki2A )

I do agree that Buell motorcycles are aggressively styled. The 1125R and Firebolt XB12R are both aggressively styled. Note the styling cues on these two bikes if you see them in pictures. Almost as if they have intimidation in their design. Racing these in "Tourist Trophy" sends that aggression a bit more. I usually ride leaning my body to cut through the wind faster because I'm an aggressive person. Leaning the body on either of these Buell sport bikes adds to the aggressive design. They make some okay-looking streetfighter bikes. They even have two touring bikes- the Ulysses XB12X and the Ulysses XB12XT. Style-wise, I'd rather take (to make wfooshee smile) a Yamaha FJR1300. So if you want to share something on Buell, you are free to. I will even bring up other manufacturers in other future threads. So let's talk Buell.
