Bug in nurb 24 hour race?

I'm doing the nurb 24 hours and i'm experiencing an annoying bug. The race is very close. After 14 hours i'm only 20 seconds ahead.

The problem is that when I resume the race the game thinks is raining 100% although the race has been dry so far. This causes my competitors to drive a very slow lap losing about 3 minutes. After that he pits and our pace is almost the same afterwards. This kinda ruins the close race i'm having.

Anyone else experienced something like this or knows how to fix?
 
Yup.

If the pre-race screen shows the wrong surface water levels when all the cars have loaded, reboot the game.
