Bug with wheels

Hello, I'd like to know if this is a bug or done on purpose by PD.
Basically, after I reduce the car's weight, its wheels change from whatever it was set to white OZ wheels. This happens on many cars. If i go to GT Auto it shows wheels that are supposed to be equipped but in the garage it shows those plastic-looking plain white rims.

You mean as in removing ballast or buying weight reduction upgrades from the Parts shop? Never heard of this before, definitely a major bug.

I was boggled for a second but I realized my Prius had dirt tires.

When you add Dirt Tyres to your car, it changes the whole wheel, meaning that if you had changed the tyres at the same moment as adjusting the weight, you wouldn't know this..
