Bugatti Veyron 298+mph tune

Hello. I wanted to tune my Veyron to the max, so I did a bit of math, and determined that the optimal RPM is 6138 rpm. Using this data, I made the following tune.


PARTS: All. As high HP and as low weight as possible. RS.

TRANSMISSION:
Top speed: 298
Final Gear: 2.638
Seventh gear: 0.628
Sixth Gear 0.865
Fifth Gear 1.099
Fourth Gear 1.518
Third Gear 2.075
Second Gear 2.964
First Gear 4.732

DRIVETRAIN

Tourqe distrubution of 10/90

SUSPENSION

Ride height 40/-25
Spring rate 7.5/20
Dampers 1/10
Anti-roll 1/1
Camber 0/0
Toe 0/0

This will get you up to 298, tune final gear to increse top speed. If you find a better final gear post it.
 
I tested this setup and it did 300.9 mph at the (10km) speed test. 👍



Looking at the "Current Performance" next to Max. Power/Torque graph you can see the max power coming at 6600 rpm.

Taking this into account , moving the final gear right to 2.700 gives new max speed of 301.3 mph at about 6450-6500 rpm.

There is still more speed to be found in the final gear. as there is over 100rpm unused.
(and that's where the peak power is)

Just tested your final gear and got 299.6 mph. How many horsepower, and how many miles are on yours? My Veyron is hovering at 1,238 horsepower with 206 miles on it.

It should max out at 1,255 roughly.

Seems a bit low, because I'm at ,what was it, 1238? Try changing oil and doing overhauls if you're a bit low, because I can only get up to 299.6 when the guy above you got up to 301.

Max power is 1256 bhp , convert it to match your regional unist.

And notice , the mileage from speed tests does not count towards break in.
(Just to be sure you've got max power , you could do 10 laps around SSRX - GT Mode practice .. and then change oil)

(You did install the carbon propeller shaft , twin plate clutch and SR flywheel upgrades too , right ?)

Mine is maxed at 1256hp as well. I hit 300mph normal and 350+mph with draft. It is possible to go a little over 300 but I can not make the corners on route X if I put a crazier suspension setup.
