Who have an idea of the best time for a Bugatti Veyron fully tuned / Racing soft tires , on Nurburgring Nordschleife track.
Personally , i know a royale fatale lap on youtube at 6:10.316. very clean nice lap,

I'm tunning this car for the ring and i need a base time to know what i have to reach.

Thanks for your help.

I don't know exactly how quick it can go but the tune I made for this car a little while ago worked very well there. I suck at landing awesome times on that track and did pretty good with my tune. You are a better driver than me so if you wanna try it to see how fast you get first than could edit it to be perfect. Brakes are hardest part about that car so watch where you break and how hard everywhere.

Thanks! That lap was pretty close to the fastest i was comfortable with, yeah the car accelerates like crazy but you have to get on the brakes early and take corners what seems like much slower than other road cars, also that run was using a tune from GT5-tuning.com

I did a quick tune already myself, i'm 6:09.xxx with it, but i don't know what to think about this time , i know it's fast but how fast...???
This car is so crazy with such a great potential , it's difficult to figure how fast it could be, how high can be your goal, specially on this track.

that seems pretty fast to me, right on the edge of losing control really, anyway it seems one of the mods here still holds a grudge against me so if you have any questions feel free to ask away, this is ROYALEFATALE by the way, i'll answer on one of my multiple backup accounts as they get banned, happy to help 👍

I think pw just wants to set a fast lap time, I don't recall them saying they wanted to impress anyone, let them use whatever tyres they want its not like they're forcing you to use racing softs.
I always thought being snobby about what tyres someone uses could get you banned!

Edit: Praiano you are a legend! I've lost count of how many of my cars are running your tunes.
Keep up the good work 👍

or even more impressive is a fast clean lap with Comfort Soft and no ABS or other aids.

Not with + than 1200 HP, at this level , racing tires are not overrated. Anyway, it was just a question. I just wanted to know about times with racing soft / veyron / ring to have a baseline for my new tune. Can close this thread here. Thanks.

Because their grip levels are too high, it takes most of the challenge away. I'd be much more impressed with someone doing this with racing hard tyres at the very most.

The OP wanted to benchmark time for a max modded Veyron on RS tyres, around the 'Ring. I doubt very much that he wanted to impress you.

I, for one, shall be waiting for him to breach the 6 min mark, because if anyone can, it'll be him...

Did I started a fire  just saying breaking 6 minutes mark on a ultra grip tire does not exactly mean anything, even more so if it is done with driving aid. Which is harder, finding a few seconds on RS tires or CS tires on a same tune while driving without any aids ? This is just how I feel.

We can make a list of times with the same tune on different tires to see how much racing tires makes the lap times much more unrealistic ;)

Not you, it was merely a misinterpretation of what Praiano was after. :p

I'd say this though, your need to "push your ideals" onto others at every given opportunity does get somewhat irritating after a while. There's a time and place to make your point…I guess.

And nope, the tune would have to be adapted or else you'd get excess under/oversteer. You should know that. :p

"What's the fastest that you can make a Veyron go around the Ring?"

"Who cares. Take off the RS tires n00b."

Never change GT5 forum.

You should mention the aids you're using as well. If you're using SRF it's changing everything basicaly.

Just so that others that would be interested to try to beat your time knows on what condition they should do it.

Most likely will be only ABS :)

I would love to know the time difference on CS, SS and RS tires with Veyron, and I am sure the tune would only need minor changes for each tire.

I usually drive most untuned 500+pp cars on CM, they are drivable - challenging too.

The Veyron fully tuned seems very rapid going by the lap time you mentioned. I wonder if going sub six minutes is possible. Don't know if I've even driven the Veyron yet in the game, might have done once, not sure but will give it another drive to see how it handles stock.

If you can do in the 5min than you easily gave best tube ever. Maybe let one of the top drivers here drive it and see if they can get any better with your new tune.

i would like to know your results also.

@ ridox and minivan driving hitler friends.

getting under 6 minutes with racing softs doesn't really mean anything? that is the dumbest thing i have read on this entire forum lately.

thats like saying getting under 6:30 (or whatever time) with comforts doesn't mean anything

no matter what tire you use, pushing the car to the edge is no more or less challenging then on any other tire. (even though the faster tires require faster reaction times)

you guys following people around saying racing soft times aren't valid are unbelievable.. your not more skilled then anyone. what your doing is no harder then what everyone else is doing.

Even the ABS thing. I use ABS all the time, and so do most of the people on this beloved slow tire forum of yours. sometimes i enter a room and its now allowed. after a bit a time i get used to it. its not really any more "challenging" it just requires you to get the feel for it..

So in the end I guess my point is. Write down in your sig that your a super L337 GT5 bada$$, that is better then everyone else because you like to use a different tire, and drive without ABS. but stop trolling the forums with your views.

you want realistic? stop playing gt5 and go buy a racecar in real life. this is a game.

I dunno who saw Fifth gear this week but Tiff tested a couple of game and neither forza nor GT5 was realistic for him ^^

So yeah, remember it's a game, there's no rules set, everyone can play the way they want. If they enjoy running in RS then let them do.

So much frustration

:dunce:

Hey man, At least its valid.

Your opinion, not mine :sly: We play differently, if you said driving without ABS is as easy with ABS, why does some testers on tuning shootout I took part in having a hard time driving my tune without ABS - he uses DFGT wheel.

If you are good, let go the braking safety net, I never use it since day one, and I am not fast or alien, why would most GT5 player need it so much, I get it - preference. much like tire choices. Feel free to disagree, I was just stating my opinion.
