Buggy textures on SSR7?

Tried searching but to no avail.

The textures on the long sweeping 180 turn, and in the wall connecting the flyover to the highway appear really strange. Sometimes they even change purple:yuck:

Does anyone else have this issue, or could it simply be related to my TV?
 
The 180 turn at the end the highway is always lit up bright blue. I see purple at the edges of objects more at the other end closer to start.
 
Personally I think that SSR7 is in an unfinished state. The strangely very bland scenery, texture errors and glitches, and running it in reverse (which is not available for this track) show that it's not complete, that PD must have it that way because of lack of time. I don't even think that the anti-noise panels are supposed to run along the whole road, they are probably there to hide the emptiness outside the track.

I think SSR5 suffers from the same problem too, although to a much lesser extent. The skydome (sky/background texture) especially must be bugged, since in some spots where you can see some "holes" in the distant scenery it looks like it's supposed to show distant buildings and roads, like in previous games. Also grandstands are strangely empty.

Seems strange, to say the least. I suppose people would be wondering "what exactly did PD spend all their time on?" I suspect it was the weather, damage etc. and getting it all to play nicely together. I imagine the location modelers were busy with the Nürburgring and all those photomode locations, too.

After reading Akira's post I'm off to drive SSR7 backwards. Where is this 'skydome' in SSR5 you speak of? Has anyone else noticed similar issues with other races at night?
