Hello everyone, I have around CR 3,000,000, and 76% (ish) complete. I'm getting bored of my cars however, now this is where you come in. Choose a road car, then tune the car however you wish. Once you've done that, tell me exactly what you did to your car (make it nice please). (I'm not 100% sure where to post this, so forgive me if it's in the wrong place). Thanks in advance!

Huh? what? Uh...it sounds like you're looking for someone to be creative for you. If you have 3 million credits, go find a car that's unusual and see what you can come up with. That's part of the fun of GT4 is discovering cool things about the 700+ cars in the game.

I would like to race it in the harder races in the beginner league and the easier races in the professional league (if that's possible)... Erm, that's about it.

Get a lotus elise 111r. They are AWESOME handling cars. I have a tune setup that allows you to get high 1'13s low 1'14s on midway normal without nos.

Okay, try this:

Use a 2000 Z06 Corvette (C5). Max it out. Get all the best drivetrain, brake, engine, chassis, and lightweight options. Definitely get the Increase Rigidity option. Get all the tires: Yes, everything from S1s to R5s, because you'll want to have them all available for the many races you seem to want to run this car in. Don't forget the oil change.

You'll need 500 HP on some tracks, over 620 on others. More than that may be hard to drive on the Sport tires that will be required in many races. Definitely go to GT Auto and put a wing on it, then go into Settings and max the downforce front and rear.

Use this chassis setup:

SR: 9.7 / 11.8
RH: 82 / 82
SB: 3 / 6
SR: 4 / 7
Cam: 3.0 / 1.3
Toe: -1/1
Stab.: 2 / 4
Brake Balance: 3 / 5
LSD: 10 / 19 / 8
ASM: 0/0
TCS: 3
Ballast / Balance: 0 / 0

To set up your transmission, slide the Autoset to 1, then set the Final Drive ratio for each track. You want to redline in sixth gear just before your braking point on the longest straight.

This is a great car for the Supercar Festival, but you can use it in lots of others, as well, such as the American hall events, the Special Condition asphalt events, the El Capitan Enduro, and even the dreaded Tsukuba Wet race if you use R5 tires.

Remember to give it an oil change now and then, and you'll need to buy the Rigidity Refresher Plan every 700 miles or so.

The Viper SRT-10 is a wonderful car, and I have an excellent tune for it that makes it handle very well....but I don't have it with me :(

Want a decent A-Spec Point-earning car?

Try this:

Lotus Elise '00
Mods: Sport Exhaust, Chip, Roll Cage, Triple plate Clutch, Racing Flywheel, S3 tires.
Power: 136hp
Springs: 9.6/8.6
Ride Height: 102/107
Shock Bound: 5/5
Shock Rebound: 6/6
Camber Angle: 1.0/0.5
Toe Angle: 0/0
Stabilizers: 7/7
Brakes: 6/6
Final Gear: 5.500
Auto Set: 9

This car is actually a replica of another type of Elise called the 135R that doesn't appear in the game. This setting isn't powerful, but it has very high limits. Add a wing, and it will probably drive even better. Since it is so low on power, I have been able to raise my A-Spec points on quite a few races. It's also fun to drive, just entering a turn at near-suicidal speeds only to see the car stay glued and make it through the corner.

Buy a Supra, put all the stuff on it, except put Racing Suspension instead of Originial, Original Turbo kit, all the good stuff from there, Soft tires, a wing, put all the downforce and stuff up. Suspension, tune front low, rear like 1 - 2 everything higher. If you want settings that I have, PM me or something...

i just bought a Honda Civic Type R... and maxed it out with a turbo....

let me tell ya... i was not impressed... i was hoping the car was going to drive like a God. like everyone said it could in real life...

and then i also bought a Mustang GT 05... sinse i know a few friends with mustangs LIFTING its front wheels up off the ground. i thought it would be interesting if i could attempt to do that in the game.. after maxing it out and using REALLY soft racing tires and NItrous the car would not lift its front end up off the ground if its life depended on it... and i know atleast 3 people in real life with mustangs that can actually lift its front wheels off the ground. that was also a big dissapointment.

Try a van. Renault Avantime, Honda Odyssey, you name it. It's a challenge to try and tune the little bastards, let alone decently. It might be possible to get one of them over 200, but I've yet to succeed.
