Well I want to build my own racing simulator setup. I already have a racing seat I can use for myself, but I need a bit of help or maybe if someone could possibly link me to a good tutorial on how to build a mount for a wheel and pedals.

I currently have this wheel:

But I really want a clutch pedal and actual shifting stick. I wish I could just upgrade the pedals and add a stick but I know I probably can't. This wheel has been good to me, had it since GT4.

So If I absolutely have to upgrade, can anyone suggest me a good wheel?

Thanks :D

Some things that would help everyone help you is.
price range?
What will you be using it with. pc, xbox, 360?
Are you willing to buy a pre made setup, or do you wish to build it yourself?
How much room do you have to place your setup?

I'm sure there are other factors but the price range and which consoles you use will determine what you can get.

Well I am not rich so maybe a few hundred dollars? Im flexible on the range. I wouldn't mind pre made or me making it. I will be using this with my PS3 for GT5 I don't want a monitor attached to it as I will be using my 55" TV.

Room? well it should fit in a rec room. Not something Massive just a mount for the wheel pedals and seat.

Will it be just for the PS3, or will you want to play PC, and xbox games with it too?

I was thinking about one of those Fanatec wheels. Do they all come with 6 speed shifters? Also what's the shipping time on them? :S

Go on their site an check them out. http://www.fanatec.de/
That way you can see what they have for yourself. As far as the shipping goes, it is hit and miss. It could be from a few days, to a few weeks or even months. I think it has gotten better recently though, I haven't heard many horror storys as of late.
