I haven't been doing much online racing. Now with, the XP and Credits u get.. I think, i wanna get into it now. I'm just wondering, What's the most popular settings for the cars for online? My point being, Horse Power, Weight and Tires.. I wanna start building cars, but have not clue what do build to. So help, much needed...

It's good to have options. Some rooms have 300, 400, 500 hp limits, and so forth. Setting aside several cars, that you enjoy driving, to compete in different horsepower brackets might be a good idea -- as well as having different drive-train options in your garage.

Have a full complement of tires so you can adapt to any restrictions the room might have. Few things are worse than not being competitive because you don't have the right tires, and you know you're faster than the other drivers.

Most people will do full weight reductions on their cars. Some do RM conversions on the cars that accept them. I'd err on the side of caution and put your cars on the strictest of Karen Carpenter Super Special Awesome Diet Plan.

I'd also save massive turbo and engine upgrades until you get yourself sorted out. It's hard enough trying to concentrate with a 300hp car in online traffic, much less 800hp.

Good luck!

Thanks for the Post... I was thinking of making a Skyline R34, for 400Hp type class. Maybe around 450 in Hp...

Another thing, i was thinking of starting my own rooms.. I may have 450 to 500 hp. Weight 1200 to 1300.. Tires 1st upgrade in Race Tires. If anyone is willing to race these class restricts, let me know

Start up a room with interesting restrictions in a power/weight class and see who shows up. If they're not totals ramming fools, friend them. Once you have enough friends, start inviting them into lounge events and bam you've got some racing going on.

At least, that's what I'm trying to do. I did a 280 horsepower, no weight restrictions and sport soft tires room tonight on suzuka, made 4 new friends whom I plan on racing with in the future. Fun times.
