Bulb Failure or Game Failure??!!

:) hi guys,

was just playing GT4, and took my new M5 for a spin, and i drove my first race against Dodge Viper GTR,Shelby Cobra,RUF Yellow Bird,Ruf CTR and the MERCEDES SL 65AMG!

i was driving, i couhgt up the cars, and when i was driving behind the Merc. SL 65 AMG, i saw something wierd. One bulb is broken.It seems like it when you look at the pic.

So,i am asking now, is this a real BULB FAILURE or a GAME Failure?? :)

by the way, i took this pic with my mobile!cause i wasnt driving in Photo Mode!! :) :dopey:

I know your quite new around here so id like to offer some advice, search! 90% of the time you will find what your are looking for!

In answer to your question, seeing as GT4 doesnt have damage then it is purely a game fault and i should think that it will be like this all the time.

There are threads dedicated to this sort of thing such as the Bugs thread

Im pretty sure there was a thread focused on "missing" brake lights but i cant seem to find it right now

PS you dont have to be in photomode to get a photo, you could have finished your race saved your replay and taken a proper photo using the replay theatre

Just to tie up a loose end: I first heard of this bug in July. It is documented HERE.

I wouldn't dive into that thread too deep - it turns into a bit of a yelling match by the end of the first page (about the use of the search function, funnily enough :sly: ). But the thread does indicate that this problem does exist on SL's and Legacy's.

yeah and i also saw one person show it on the Ford RS200 (Red) and there was a pick.

it seems to be a error with a disc, since it has been seen with so many different cars, and many different people, either that or PD hates a select few people.
