I think it looks pretty good already. Burnout 3 looks better. It shudders a little in the crashes though, and EA says they'll improve the framerate. Hearing that the PSP has been capped at 2 thirds of it's power, it could look even better when uncapped.
 
i.... want... i loved burnout 3 and by the pics it seems this is gonna be just as gd.... bring on september!!!
 
PSP runs at 222/147mhz, Future games will take advantage of the full 333mhz for the EE and 166mhz for The GPU. Both clock speeds are greatter than PS2's 299/146mhz. Battery life is the issue but there will be batteries that will triple the capacity of the first one later this year. right now there is one that doubles it and its $50 compared to Sony's normal one thats $50.
I will be getting the battery once i find it
 
So has anyone purchased this game yet? I'd like to know how good it is and what you can do in it. Anyone know if its got online (multiplayer) play?

Since I saw the actual game on the PSP I think it's safe to say these pics don't do it justice... It's a lot better in person.

Well this was the game i was looking forward to (apart from GTA and GT4M) and when i seen screenshots i thought the cars looked a bit out of proportion!
 
:O I forgot I made this thread.

I bought the game, but was a little dissapointed IMO. I found the framerate and graphics really good in races, but when you crash with more than two cars it slows down. It doesn't bother me too much until you reach the crash mode with several vehicles on screen. I could even count the frames, 9fps when you did the crashbreaker and blow up. To me this put me right off and swapped the game out for Mercury instead. :) I suppose I'm too used to the PS2/Xbox versions and thought too highly of the game being brilliant on PSP.

This is totaly my opinion though, you guys might not even mind the framerate!
 
I suppose i will get the game and if it bothers me too much i'll just return it! Is it just exactly the same in terms of gameplay as the ones for ps2?

Why not read the Gamespot review? They like the game a lot ... (it's Gold, even).

I like to get various peoples opinions on it not just one review tho - just to see the general opinion!

Yeah al go on and give it a read, probably got more info now since its out, i checked on gamespot before but it didnt have much info on the game. 👍

Yeah, the gameplay and menus are pretty much the same as Burnout 3. :)
 
What??? i thought this game was for the PS2!?
I saw this game in HMV in a PS2 case...i guess it must have been those 'coming soon' things...
 
Yeah I bought Burnout Legends on Friday, its basically Burnout 3 with a few extras, which is good and bad at the same time. There are 3 things that I think are poor about it though, the framerate is quite terrible at times, its a little glitchy and Pursuit mode is crap. Other than that its a great game, lots of fun 👍
 
Yeah, what good things are gone apart from the framerate?
