So I was thinking of picking this up from the store today until I read that it doesn’t support racing wheels, is this true? I’d find it staggering that a new(ish) game don’t offer wheel support in this day and age..

apologies if a thread already exists for this

It's definitely fun, but when I got the remastered version it's just like the original. As in everything has to be unlocked again. I didn't mind for a little while but then I remembered all of the cars I wanted that required me to get all smash gates, super jumps, shortcuts, etc. I would gladly have paid 5-10 dollars to have every car unlocked. At least it came with Big Paradise Island and the buggy is available from the start.

Yes, the PS4 remaster does not have wheel support but the PS3 version does. I traded in my copy of the remaster for that reason.

The game is harder using a wheel, but it is still very fun, and I like having the option. There is no real FFB, only some rumble effects which I find annoying as it goes crazy whenever you crash.
