After watching the coverage of Rally San Remo, Richard Burns did not seem to happy with Citroen. As Burns said after coming to a stop after a stage, "I cannot drive this car." After another stage Burns said to the camera, "Im sure I will have a debriefing when this is all done" with a cocky smile on his face. What do you all think is up with him, He drove so conservative and didn't push at all, do you think he is doen with Citroen?

Richard would probably love to get his hands on a Citroen! He's driving for Puegeot this year and moving to Subaru for 2004.

The 206 doesn't suit his driving style. It's wheelbase is shorter then the Scooby he drove previously and the car is too twitchy for his driving style. Burns is a smooooth driver and the 206 has to be hustled to get the best out of it.

Burns drive for . PEUGEOT not CITROËN
Yes i think He is done with PEUGEOT
He need to get his ass back to Subaru
He is such a cry baby though

Solberg need to slap him around alil bit
and tell him to get down son... get down...

Three rallies left, 2 points between Loeb and Burns. With two of those three rallies being tarmac, i'm betting on Loeb to be world champion.

LOL - Don't you think Solberg will be in hiding after failing to finish because he ran out of fuel!

Still, does not excuse Burns for the worst drive I've seen him put in. The last two stages saw him trying a bit harder, but that what he should have done over all three days.

Looks like its a four way fight to the end, should be good, can't wait to get down to the Welsh forests in November.

I will be so happy if Burns doesn't win the championship this year.

He's had his butt kicked by Gronholm, and next year he's going to have his butt kicked by Solberg. It's excellent.

Bye bye Richard, you mithering, whingeing arrogant useless monkey.

C'mon Giles. Don't sit on the fence. If you're not to keen on him just tell us! :p

You missed boring.

I still fail to see why people hate him so much. I mean, all those things you mentioned: arrogant, boring, etc. They don't seem like the root of the aversion you have for him. Am I the only one who has such a passion for the sport that I can take rally drivers as they come?
Personally, I don't find Burns that much of a jerk, and I hope he gets accustomed quickly to the Impreza.
I grant you he can be somewhat supercilious at times, but other motorsports have drivers that are way worse. I think us rally fans are very lucky that our drivers aren't that high up on the pompous scale.

It's cool watching him win for the subaru sometimes but when he not win he cry..... and i hated him when he left Subaru...2 years ago?

It's cool to have him back and hope he will help Subaru win a long side with Solberg....
