bust a takumi in gt3

this may seem like a trivial thing to some, but for a person who considers Initial D their bible, it is a crazy thing. for those of you who dont know and a reminder....i guess....to those who do, you can be like takumi fujiwara in gt3. if you still dont know wut im talkin about, i'll tell you. in trial mountain, there are 3 corners that have a gutter. yup. a gutter. if you drive right over it with the inside tire of your car and with the correct handling, you can follow the gutter all the way to the end of the turn without losing much speed. you will know when you get it right cuz the car will behave a little differently, kinda like a rollercoaster on a track. if you really wanna know where these gutters are i can tell you. the first one is at turn #4 (goin through the first tunnel). it may seem to be too wide for a gutter, but you can cruise right over it and not worry about understeer. the second one is right after the second tunnel where there is a short turn into another tunnel (the long one). the gutter is on the left between the 2 tunnels. the last one is at the big U turn right after that long straight. i hope this post was intersting enough to make you go find those gutters and i am not lying, they are there. gl perfecting the gutter drop.
 
OT: Initial D question....which Initial D episode is it where a bunch of guy's make fun of Takumi's friend's (can't remember his name..it's the one who always screams TAKUMI!!!!! hehe) AE85, then Takumi get's pissed and goes after them and smokes 'em down the mountain?
 
hey, you sound a lot like someone i know.....me...have you seen the original battle stage, the one with ALL the races? or do you know when the 4th stage is coming? i wanna see bunta in his new wrx race takumi.
 
Heh, unfortunatly I have not seen the original battle stage. It was only a couple months ago I started on Initial D. As for bunta in a scoob... it just doesn't seem right. I can't imagine him in anything other than an FR. I loved his drift in the middle of ep 24 (when Save Me starts playing)... kind of reminds me of how I drive my 86. As for him being compared to Takumi's skills.. I think all he's got for him is experience and the whole 3rd point ryosuke talks about. (Which i think is the emotional aspect of the race)
 
ahh, thx, I haven't watched any of the initial D episodes in a while, I still have the battle stage, but I loved watching Takumi smoke those guys in a stock AE85 hehe, good stuff:D
 
well about the gutter and stuff, me and akina did all the time, akina tries to say it once about going fast using gutter but no one believes him, but oh well i did it all the time grip racing with akina and he does it too, you might wanna watch the video on trial mountain that we did, i dont know and forgot but we might use the gutter a little bit but if not then i dont know!!!!!!!!!
 
thats koo. im glad that im not the only one that knows about those gutters. i didnt even figure it out till i accidentally drifted into one and noticed that the car just followed it to the end. o god, i need to go play some ID at the arcade. that game is fun once you get the drifting down.
