Harry Wants To Be A King of Speed
Just months after young mothers close to an army base condemned him as a dangerous "boy racer", it's being claimed Prince Harry has failed to convince his father to let him buy a powerful Lotus Elise car costing no less than £30,000.
A source close to the Wales family is quoted as saying the Prince who as we all know lost his mother in a high-speed car crash is a huge fan of Jamiroquai singer Jay Kay, the 36-year-old star who's equally famous for his love of speed machines (and glamorous women) as for his music career: "Jay Kay has always been one of Harrys icons and he loves the fact he owns a fleet of luxury motors. Jay thinks the Lotus Elise is fantastic to drive, and full of sensation, and Harry fancied the idea of having a sports car which can go really fast."
"It was Jays enthusiasm about the Lotus Elise which prompted Harry to want one. But Charles and Camilla simply told him they didnt think it was a good idea, so he hasnt bought one.
