I just received my playseat a few weeks ago and my buttkicker today. I have a few questions and I know there are a lot of knowledgeable people in these forums so I figure this is the best place to ask. I did a search but only found bits and pieces of what I needed help with.
First off I mounted the buttkicker to the rear of the playseat frame using a 15/16" socket like shown in the YouTube video. For those that have done this do you find then rear seat frame is better than the front? I was thinking about switching to then front to see if it made a difference but if you have experience in this please let me know.
My second question is I am getting some rattling, which I guess is to be expected but if i could eleminate it as much as possible it would make then experience better. Has anybody found the parts that tend to be the cause of the rattle and how did you fix them, or is it the buttkkicker that is rattling and not the seat?
And finally, I have a moderate to cheap box kit samsung receiver. I split the subwoofer jack and am running one wire to the woofer and one to the buttkicker. What have you found to be the best settings to set the buttkicker amp to? I mostly play GT5 so that is what I am trying to get dialed in.
