Hi
I have just bought a buttkicker and clamped it to my frame really pleased with it.
I thought about building a platform with foam insulation to mount the frame and reduce noise in the house, any thoughts on this thanks for any feedback.

I recently isolated my platform using rubber bouncing balls. I have cut the bouncing balls in half and glued them under the platform. They isolate VERY well! Costs: only 3 euro for 12 bouncing balls (3 cm each).

I found the idea on a Dutch forum about isolation of subwoofers (photos of the balls are half way down the page): http://www.hififorum.nl/index.php?topic=18510.40 They also state the vibration isolation is amazing.

The funny thing is the balls do not bounce very well (rubber foam inside instead of solid rubber), but maybe that's just our luck... ;)

harvysmoon - you can also mount the frame on solid rubber door stops - I bought some from a hardware store for £1 each.
