I know a few of you still play this game, so my question is this: Do you use the default button layout or do you assign new buttons new commands? For the last 6 years of playing this game I have used numerous different button layouts and what I have found to work best for myself in Grip/Drift driving is a little switch up with the Gas/Brake and Up/Down shifting.
Gas/Brake have been relocated to R2-Gas and L2-Brake
While Up Shift- Down shift are Up/Down on R3 or (Right Thumbstick)
With this setup I can partially "Clutch Kick" if you will. Real rapid shifting is more like it, but it still has the desired effect.
