So, for about 6 months now I've been dying to buy a NEW(factory new) ride. First it was the new Tundra
but now, I want this
The problem is, in the End of May I embark on another military deployment. It just seems silly to buy a brand new ride and then leave it for a year while i'm paying payments AND full insurance, and it will probably get driven once a week at best if I leave with my father. So the deployement is the biggest argument not to get one.
However, I'm worried about the state of the car market when I return(wich right now is planned for mid 2010). If the bailouts are successful, the dealers wont be so generous with their prices. However, I read and hear that this economic downturn isn't going to heal anytime soon. So maybe it will be and even better time to buy in '10??
3rd, will Pontiac be around to sell me a super sexy G8 GT (or GXP) in mid 2010? I trust GM will honor warranties to people who have warranty time left on pontiacs if that brand goes under. But maybe not.
So what is the opinions of the vast GTP community? Whom for the most part are much more level headed about things than I.
