It's come time to upgrade my pc's graphics card. Basically I'm not up on whats the best, I'm looking to ideally sped under £150 but for a decent enough card will stretch. The current card I have is a 3 year of GeForce FX5200 and it's showing it's age with the latest games coming out, I have 1gig RAM which I don't need to upgrade yet imo, and the PC's running an AMD Athlon at 2200mhz. So does anyone have any idea's on what graphics cards are best for around £150 or less.

Your Althon is a 2800+?

For your price braket a Leadtek 6800le is an awesome card. The card has been known to unlock to a higher number of pixel pipelines and shaders making it a hell of a lot faster and te unlocking process is software based so you won't have to worry about messing around too much. The biggest problem is finding one, AGP cards are in decline.

Not the Leadtek one, but still the 256MB version, may or may not be unlockable, but still an excellent card for the money:

Or spend a bit more for the 6800GS:

Or spend the right amount but get a little less with a 6600GT (bottom of the page):

I've bought that AGP 6800le that you linked to me, thanks for the help donbenni and everyone else.

Nice choice, i would have gone with ATi, as i just bought a graphics card from them and it's superb, but whatever.
