Buying and Selling items online

I've been looking to sell a few items online, and I want to know what the best way to go about this is. So any advice would be welcomed 👍

Obviously ebay appears to be a popular choice, but what others are out there? I also have a paypal account, is it recommended that I use this, or are there better services to use out there?

I've only ever used ebay with paypal and have been quite happy with that but the fees do add up and eat into your profits.

Gumtree and Sell on Amazon spring to mind as alternatives.

You could have a look into Google Checkout for payments although it may be just for making rather than receiving payments.
