Alright, I know this has been asked a lot, but I have also been confused with the different kinds of wheels. I know one of the logitechs has a problem with the acceleration or braking only letting you go 75%, but I also hear you can hook up a 9 volt or something to fix this. I also heard one doesn't let you shift if your turning the wheel to much. Then I hear about a Driving force and other names.

Circuit City- http://www.circuitcity.com/detail.jsp?c=1&b=g&catoid=-9263&qp=0&bookmark=bookmark_10&oid=44332 Light blue on the wheel

Toysrus- Dark blue on the wheel and its the Driving Force one.

Their was also one at Bestbuy but I forgot which wheel they had, but their site is down right now so IDK.

But can anybody tell me which one is probably the best to buy and which ones have problems, and what the difference is between them?

Thanks

The Driving Force replaced the original GT Force as the official wheel. The DF version is the one with the problems; the GT Force seems to work fine as far as I know.

The current one to get is the red Momo Force wheel with black leather - yes real leather - wheel and steel paddle shifters. It is far and away the best-made wheel available now. It says PC-only but it works great with the PS2. It can be bought mailorder for $100 US, new, including shipping. The only problem with this wheel is that some of them are slightly off-center to the left. That's correctable in software on your PC, but not on the PS2. It's not hard to live with.

There is a new wheel being developed in conjunction with GT4 that looks to be quite nice but it is not official yet.

But between the one at circuit city and the one at toysrus(Driving force), I should go with the one at Circuit city?
I'll check out the MOMO one also.
Thanks for the reply.

OK, having just looked at the two links, I guess the better one is the light blue one, though I've never seen it before. The other one at ToysRUs is the Driving Force, which has problems.

Definitely look for the Momo because the quality is head and shoulders better than the DF and that other one pictured. The pedals and shifter paddles are much beefier and solid.

Go to www.pricewatch.com and do a search for "momo". It should turn up.
