Hello ForzaPlanet!

I have a question...

I've wondered buying the Season Pass this late is worth it. Here's the link to it:

http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-US/Product/Season-Pass/c39df998-ec2d-44dd-9640-a3310eca9604

"You'll receive access to six packs of ten new cars to be released monthly from November, 2011 through April, 2012. As a bonus, you can immediately download all ten cars in the American Muscle Car Pack for free. Buy a Season Pass today!"

This what I wonder because i'd personally like to save 3,920 MS points of DLC that the Seasonal Pass can save. My question is, is the Seasonal Pass a temporary use item?

Season pass only gets you the packs from November to April the rest you will need to buy. But the american muscle car pack is included so to answer your question yes

So the pass is temporary? With November sneaking up, I don't want to put down the meaty 2,400 MS points to only have the 7 packs of content revoked.

But its better than spending 3,920 MS points of aged content.

I'm glad I bught the Season Pass simply because I saved points over purchasing the packs seperately.

The Pass is badly named!
It was in effect a pre order option.. pay for the pass in advance and get all the 'DLC' car packs from November 2011 up until April 2012.

If you buy it you get the content as though you'd bought those individual packs in the store..

If your new and want the cars it's a bit cheaper assuming that you'd have bought them all anyway..

and they don't time out. I bought my pack when the game released and I can still access the cars from the packs.

It might have been nice if they had released a follow on season pass with the content that followed... but I guess we have to just buy those separately or wait for the ultimate pack as they did with Forza 3!

remember you can download the free cars from each pack and be able to see the pack cars in the game, in this way you can decide if it's worth buying..

Have fun.

That clears it up gslooney, thank you very much. I was just wary about the the price of DLC ( As of Tuesday FM4 DLC totals in at $91.50 :scared: ) And I did just buy the game this last week, so i'm little late to the party.

But i'll pay the "Seasonal" stuff this weekend, thank you again for answering!

I bought it 2 days ago and I think it was worth it, got a lot of really nice cars plus the Muscle Pack was a must-have...I am a late-comer to the 360 and FM4. I was burnt out on GT5...

Yup. In hindsight I probably shouldn't have bought the Season Pass, but it's not like the first packs were bad.

They definitely managed to stick some of my favorite cars in these recent packs though. Oh well, I'm just holding out for Horizon.

I did end up buying it. On the positive side, It does cut down on total cost of DLC by a good chunk. But i'm not exactly resentful of my purchases towards this game. 👍

My worry before purchasing the Season Pass so late was that it had a secret "temporary time limit" of the use of the content.

I definitely don't regret buying the season pass as I do love cars of all kinds.

But yeah, the last three packs have all been stellar IMO, better than any of the packs that applied to the season pass.
