C 32 AMG with Bernd Schneider on Nürb.-Ring

I have a mpeg-file from the DVD "Mercedes-AMG Sportfahrertraining am Nürburgring" showing Bernd Schneider in the C 32 AMG with 3 other AMG-Drivers.

He shows them the track and he actually shows no mercy to the tires :)

It´s all in-board and it is great quality (227 MB!!!)

And it´s a nice movie to study the correct line at the nordschleife.

But i don´t know anything about ftp-Servers and all this stuff.

Has anybody an idea of how i could share it with you ???

I have this video...nice driving of him, but it´s 100 MB or more i guess

Ohh - You know.. He's just some guy who happens to work here ;)

Seriously - He's the one who Owns / Operates GTP, and if this has any value for GTPs members, he might help you out...
 
I just wish I had a video from the opening of the GP circuit back in 1984. Ayrton Senna owned everyone like whoa!

Yep, i love these vids too.

I like this one, cause it seems to be a good camera and the sound is perfect.

This one seems pretty limited, because it's such an obscure filename (and should stay that way, I think).. once I get it, I'll leave eMule running so that others can grab it as well (which I normally don't do.. but if only GTP'ers will be grabbing it, that's okay by me. :))
 
Mercedes-Benz. Bernd Schneider. Nice one-two punch. I still remember watching that IGN (or was it GameSpot?) video with the Nurburgring Nordschleife. The dork was racing a car that's anything but- the Fina McLaren F1. The dork... uh, driver, drove the track pretty wel until later. He was able to enjoy a feature I hope to enjoy at the Nurburgring Nords., 300 kilometers an hour! Or for the rest of us, maybe well over 150 mph or eclipsing 200 (set me straight if I'm wrong).

Still, I would feel very uneasy racing a very long track because I have this fear of totally ruining an entire race with one small error. Sure, I raced Le Mans in another game, but this track involves lots of concentration. One has to be able to endure the 7 to 10 minute long laps there. I can say that if you've raced Complex String before, you have a bit of an idea about how one screw-up can ruin everything. Hell, I even raced a stock VW New Beetle at Complex String. Took me about 5 minutes, 12 seconds. Nurburgring Nords. is going to be the most b*tchin' challenge in GT4. Not to tick people off about online play, but this track would be perfect for one-lap shootouts. I'm done here, and I hope to actually see some Australian V8 coverage here on Speed, just have to wake up during the day to watch it. Anyhow, sounds like fun to this young Texan!
 
The Nordscleife is all that JohnBM01. The current Gt4 demo is insane, with the Falken Skyline it is 7minutes of fear and 180mph down the main straight. Amazing stuff.

Speaking of the Falken GT-R and Skyline in general I found a wonderful torrent file last night that downloaded a 1h20m video from what looks like UK TV about the Skyline GT-R and it's fans. Interesting it covers the R34 driving the Nordschleife and the Falken GT-R in all it's glory. It's a great watch and I have included the torrent file in this post. It is worth the 700mb+ download.

Yeah! I love the GT4 demo, the Nordschleife is one scary track, especially at high speeds driving over bumps; too sharp steering will result in a spin! :scared:
I drove around 30 laps now and finally I'm remembering parts of the circuit... :)

If anyone is interested, I have another great video of Nurburgring...
It's with a driver named Frank Stippler in a right-hand drive racing GT(?) Porsche...
Really a great video...however it's about 70megs and I fear my website can't handle it...so if anyone has some ideas, and are interested, please let me know of some alternate ways of hosting it..

Monster Coolies !... Thankee Sai....

And you're right - One can never have too much Ring Material ;) (When I get around to sorting through my old CDs, I have some 40-50 laps with a guy I used to know riding his R1, later his GSX-R1000 on the Ring. I plan on converting these to a few DVDs as they're a great legacy to him. Very interesting to see how he improved and got faster from lap 5 to 335...)
 
I've been downloading for twenty hours, and it's less than 10%, with an estimated NINE DAYS to complete. I don't suppose there's an option of something faster?

Yousendit is starting to look tempting.. I know some people hate it, but if it were there, I would have had it downloaded in a matter of minutes...

I did post a torrent file guys for this Skyline show...emule might have more stuff or be better searched but it is slow as death. It took me about 12h to suck down the torrent file with my cable modem.

Eitherway, however you get it. it is worth the wait.
 
Well, let it take 9 days !!!

1st: It´s worth it !!!
2nd: If i wouldn´t have told you about the movie, you would even be able to live on without it !
3rd: There is still plenty of time to wait until GT4 is released :)
 
Maybe alexsteffen can open a so called 'friend slot' to someone here who is always online. His queue is pretty long so downloading is slow. With a friend slot someone has priority above other ppl in the queue. This way we can distribute the whole file faster.
I only use eMule for a few hours a day so I'm not the right person but someone else here may be online for a longer period.

For ppl who are not that familiar with eMule: right click a person in the upload queue and select 'add to friends, then go to the Messages icon in the top bar and select the person and right click and select 'establish friend slot'.
